The Mark is open 52 weeks a year and annually hosts at least 48 classes, 140 play parties, 36 munches, 48 discussion forums, 24 workshops, 4 burlesque shows, 2 charitable fundraisers, a vendor fair, an erotic film festival, and serves as a meeting space for local kink-positive and sex-positive groups. Kink Education

• "Welcome" Series Classes: These monthly classes cover the topics of boundaries and consent, the history and legal issues surrounding kink, as well as the rather specialized vocabulary, customs, protocols, decorum, etiquette, and policies encountered at The Mark and elsewhere.
• "BDSM Basics" Classes: Local experts present on subjects such as play safety, technical skills, and philosophical concepts of particular interest to those new to the world of BDSM, fetish and kink.
• "BDSM Extensions" Classes: Featuring out-of-state subject matter experts who present more advanced play techniques and topics from a non-local perspective.
• "Adventures in Kink" Classes: These classes offer members the opportunity to present on a favorite topic and, as such, are rather pop-up in nature.

• Welcome Munches: These open munches are restaurant get-togethers for folx wanting to attend a play party at The Mark, but who lack the required member-sponsor.
